Messages You Send Us on WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger

Many families reach us on WhatsApp, Instagram Direct or Facebook Messenger rather than by email. When you message us on any of these, we receive and store the content of your messages, any photos or files you send, the time they were sent, and the identifier the platform gives us for your account — your WhatsApp phone number, or the account-scoped ID Instagram and Messenger provide. Where the platform makes it available, we also receive the name or username shown on your profile.

We use this only to answer you and to continue that conversation. Messages are stored alongside your family's existing record so that whoever replies can see your trial booking or your child's enrolment while they answer, instead of asking you to repeat yourself. We do not use the contents of your messages for advertising, we do not build profiles from them, and we do not sell, rent or transfer them to anyone.

These conversations are also processed by Meta Platforms, Inc., who operate WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger and deliver the messages to us. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy, not this one.

You can ask us to delete your message history at any time, and we will do so within 30 days. Write to info@minhaj.kids, or follow the instructions at minhaj.kids/data-deletion. You can also stop us contacting you on a channel at any time by telling us so in that conversation.

Children's Privacy and Safeguarding

We take our duty of care to children with the utmost seriousness. Our platform is designed for children aged 5 to 14, and all accounts are managed by a parent or guardian.

• We do not collect personal information directly from children without verified parental consent.
• All tutors undergo background checks and safeguarding training before joining our platform.
• Live classes run in small groups of 5 to 8 students or as private one-to-one sessions, and both take place inside the monitored platform classroom.
• We do not display advertising to children or share their data for marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. When you close your account:

• Account data is deleted within 90 days, unless we are required to retain it by law.
