We are Building
A Generation Knows Islam
and Carries It for Life.

Private 1:1 live classes in Quran, Arabic, and Islamic Studies — for Muslim children growing up in the West, taught by tutors who understand their reality.

Why We
Exist.

Our Mission

We believe every Muslim child deserves to grow up knowing their deen deeply enough to love it, live it, and carry it with confidence into every part of their life in the West and beyond.

Built by Muslim parents who lived the problem andrefused to accept it.

The Problem

Muslim children in the West were growing up with Arabic that felt foreign, Islamic Studies that felt irrelevant, and Quran lessons that stopped at recitation and never reached understanding.

The Question

What would Islamic education look like if it was built specifically for children growing up here — by educators who understand their world?

The Answer

Live, private one-to-one classes in Quran, Arabic, and Islamic Studies. Taught by qualified Muslim tutors. Structured around understanding, love, and belonging — not memorisation alone.

Every child who learns through Minhaj is not just becoming a more grounded individual. They are becoming a stronger thread in the fabric of this Ummah.

What We Do
and Why We Do It

Every Minhaj session is built around a single belief: a child who understands their faith will love it, live it, and carry it forward with confidence.

Live Private 1:1 Classes

Structured, live private 1:1 classes in Quran, Arabic, and Islamic Studies — taught in real time, not pre-recorded.

Built for the West

Built specifically for Muslim children growing up in Western societies, where faith needs context as much as content.

Qualified Muslim Educators

Taught by qualified Muslim educators who understand the challenge and the beauty of raising a child in faith, here and now.

What We Believe

A different vision for Islamic education.

We started Minhaj because Islamic education for our children deserved more than what was on offer. Three beliefs shape every class we run.

Sunday Mosque Is a Beginning, Not an Education.

One hour a week was never going to be enough. Children need consistency, structure, and tutors who meet them where they are, week after week.

Islamic Education Should Feel Like Belonging.

Not a chore. Not an obligation. A child learning with a tutor who knows them, growing week by week, and building a relationship with their deen that is genuinely theirs.

Parents Should Never Have to Wonder.

Whether their child is progressing, whether the tutor is qualified, whether the platform is safe — these questions should already be answered before you even ask them.

What We Do

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Minhaj Kids accredited and are the tutors formally qualified?

Minhaj Kids tutors hold ijaza — a formal chain-of-transmission certification in Quranic recitation granted by qualified Islamic scholars — alongside recognised teaching qualifications. All tutors undergo a structured vetting process covering academic credentials, safeguarding compliance, and subject expertise before joining the platform. Minhaj operates as a structured Islamic education provider serving Muslim families across the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Ireland.

Minhaj Kids differs from a mosque or Sunday school in four measurable ways. First, every class is private 1:1 — one child and one tutor — compared to the 20–40 children typical of mosque classes. Second, every session is live, structured, and curriculum-led. Third, all classes are recorded and available to revisit with no time limit. Fourth, the curriculum is built specifically for children growing up in Western societies, addressing the cultural and linguistic context that traditional mosque education does not account for. Minhaj is designed to complement — not replace — local mosque attendance.

Minhaj Kids places children by level, not just age. Every new student begins with a free 1-on-1 assessment session — a dedicated session with a qualified tutor who evaluates the child's current Quran recitation, Arabic recognition, and Islamic Studies foundation. Based on that assessment, the child starts their private 1:1 classes at the appropriate level.

Minhaj Kids was built specifically for children who grow up speaking English as their primary language in Western societies. The curriculum does not assume any prior Arabic knowledge. At the Beginner level (ages 5–7), children start from Arabic letter recognition — the same starting point as a child who has never seen the Arabic script. Lessons are conducted in English with Arabic introduced progressively. Tutors are trained to understand the specific challenges facing Western Muslim children: navigating Islamic identity in non-Muslim environments, learning a language with no home exposure, and connecting with a faith tradition their parents may also struggle to pass on systematically. This is the foundational difference between Minhaj and platforms built for Arabic-speaking or Muslim-majority country contexts.
