The Minhaj Islamic Studies curriculum is built specifically for the Western-born Muslim child. Every topic — aqeedah, seerah, fiqh basics, and akhlaq — is taught through the lens of a child navigating a non-Muslim majority society. The seerah of the Prophet ﷺ is not taught as ancient history. It is taught as a living guide for how to carry your identity with confidence, how to respond when your faith is questioned, and how to live with strong Islamic values in a world that does not always reflect them. Weekend mosque school serves an important community role but typically delivers Islamic education in large groups, with curricula designed for a different cultural context, and without the consistency needed for deep understanding. Minhaj Islamic Studies classes are capped at 5 students, taught by qualified tutors, and structured around a progressive curriculum that builds from aqeedah to seerah to fiqh in a logical, connected sequence.
