We are hiring an Islamic Studies teacher who understands what it means for a child to grow up Muslim in the West. These children are navigating two worlds. They need a teacher who can make Islam feel like a source of strength and identity — not pressure or confusion.
If you can bring the Seerah to life, handle a tough question from a curious 10-year-old with warmth instead of defensiveness, and teach a child why we pray rather than just that we must, this role is for you.
What you will actually do
- Teach live sessions using storytelling, animations, and discussion-based learning
- For younger students (5–8): connect Hadiths about kindness to real daily habits using play-based learning and interactive animations
- For older students (9–12): use reflection, group discussions, and project-based learning to build a confident, grounded Muslim identity
- Welcome children's questions with intellectual humility — validate their curiosity, never shame it
- Focus on Tarbiyah (character building) over rote memorisation
Age range
